KanKoa (“KanKoa”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is currently in pre-launch. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information on this website. It does not yet cover the KanKoa mobile app, which is still in development — a dedicated, more detailed privacy policy covering in-app data (such as your vehicles, appliances, contracts, and warranties) will be published before the app launches.

1. Information we collect

This website does not require an account, does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and does not include any forms that collect personal information. When you visit, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical data for security and reliability purposes, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This information is retained only as long as necessary for those purposes.

2. Cookies

We do not set analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this website. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent where required by law before doing so.

3. The KanKoa app (coming soon)

The KanKoa app is designed to help you track personal assets — vehicles, appliances, contracts, receipts, and warranties — including documents you choose to upload. Once available, the app will only process the data needed to provide these features, will let you access, export, and delete your data, and will never sell your personal information to third parties. Full details, including our legal basis for processing, data retention periods, and any subprocessors we use, will be published in the in-app Privacy Policy prior to launch.

4. Your rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the GDPR regarding any personal data we hold about you, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export it, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

5. Children’s privacy

This website and the KanKoa app are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
